222 prisoners who escaped from Nawalparasi jail return

Nawalparasi. The inmates who escaped from the Nawalparasi jail due to the tense situation during the Genji demonstration are returning home.

So far, 222 inmates have returned to the prison, said jailer Bikal Shrestha. According to him, 546 inmates escaped from Nawalparasi prison on September 10.

According to jailer Shrestha, 17 men and 12 women have escaped from the prison after taking control of the prison. When the situation in the prison went out of control, the police allowed the inmates to leave without doing anything.

He said that most of the inmates have started returning to the jail every day after issuing a notice asking them to return after issuing a notice that they could be punished further.

According to Shrestha, 40 of the prisoners who escaped from Nawalparasi jail are Indian nationals. According to him, 13 inmates of Nawalparasi prison have returned to other prisons of the country while six inmates from other prisons have returned to Nepal.

Two Moroccan nationals and one South African who escaped from the prison are currently lodged in Nawalparasi prison, according to jailer Shrestha.
