Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The number of people leaving the Kathmandu Valley is increasing as Dashain approaches.

After the start of the holidays in schools and colleges, there is a crowd of people leaving Kathmandu from early morning at Gongabu Bus Park in Kathmandu.

Spokesperson of Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office Superintendent of Police Deepak Giri said as many as 138,296 people have left the Valley since the day of Ghatasthapana.

According to the Federation of Nepalese National Transport Entrepreneurs, although ticket booking has not been opened in advance this year due to various reasons, arrangements have been made to buy tickets a day in advance. As a result, ticket holders have also gathered at Gongabu Bus Park.

At present, there is a crowd of people leaving the Kathmandu Valley at Gongabu New Bus Park, Machhapokhari-based Dhading Bus Park, Koteshwor, Kalanki, among other intersections.
