Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the exchange rate of foreign currency for Sunday. According to the Nepal Rastra Bank, the selling rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 141.66 and Rs 142.26.

The buying rate of European Euro 1 was fixed at Rs 165.26 and the selling rate of Euro 1 was fixed at Rs 165.96, while the buying rate of UK pound sterling one was set at Rs 189.09 and the selling rate of Swiss franc 1 was set at Rs 177.08.

The selling rate of 1 Australian dollar has been fixed at 92.43 rupees and 92.82 paise, while the selling rate of one Canadian dollar has been fixed at 101.51 rupees and 101.94 rupees.

Similarly, the buying rate of Japanese Yen 10 was Rs 9.46 and selling rate was Rs 9.50, the selling rate of Chinese Yuan 1 was Rs 19.85 and the selling rate was Rs 19.93.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of Thai Dirham 1 is Rs 4.39 and the selling rate is Rs 4.41, the buying rate of UAE Dirham 1 is Rs 38.57 and the selling rate is Rs 38.73, the selling rate of Malaysian Ringat 1 is Rs 33.56 and the selling rate is Rs 33.70. The selling rate of Swedish kroner 1 has been fixed at Rs 14.97 and the selling rate of Danish kroner 1 has been fixed at Rs 22.14 and Rs 22.24 respectively.

The selling rate of Hong Kong Dinar 1 is 18.21 rupees and selling rate is 18.29 rupees, the buying rate of Kuwaiti Dinar 1 is 463.27 and the selling rate is 465.24 paise, Bahrain Dinar 1 is 375.72 and the selling rate is 377.31 rupees, the Omni Rial 1 is 367.93 and the selling rate is 369.49. The selling rate has been fixed at Rs 160 and Rs 100 for buying and Rs 100.

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has stated that the exchange rate can be revised at any time as per the need. However, the exchange rate fixed by the commercial bank may vary and the updated exchange rate will be available on the central bank’s website. l
