Kathmandu. Banks and financial institutions are to provide their services during Dashain as well. Although the Dashain holidays are starting in most areas from Phulpati, banks are providing service to their customers by keeping their branches open in different places.

KATHMANDU: Banks and financial institutions (BFIs) have decided to open their counters and branches during the Dashain holidays as well. Commercial banks, in particular, are opening their counters on holidays to facilitate the general public.

Nabil Bank is opening its 31 branches during the Dashain holidays. The bank will have 8 branches of Koshi Province, 2 branches of Madhes Province, 14 branches of Bagmati Province, Pokhara Branch of Gandaki, 4 branches of Lumbini, 1 branch of Karnali Province and 1 branch of Sudurpaschim Province.

Sanima Bank has been providing its services with a network of 22 branches in Kathmandu, 24 in Koshi Province, 14 in Madhesh Province, 10 in Bagmati Province, 4 in Gandaki, 11 in Lumbini Province, 1 in Karnali Province and 2 in Sudurpaschim Province.

Global IME Bank has been providing its services from 8 branches in Koshi Province, 6 in Madhes Province, 24 in Bagmati Province, 7 in Gandaki Province, 7 in Lumbini Province, 1 in Karnali Province and 7 in Sudurpaschim Province. Similarly, on the occasion of Maha Ashtami, Global Bank will operate 2 outlets from Kosi, 3 from Mahesh, 9 from Bagmati, 2 from Gandaki, 3 from Lumbini and 4 from Sudurpaschim.

Nepal Investment Mega Bank (NIBL) will continue to open its 22 branches during the upcoming Dashain festival.

Laxmi Sunrise Bank is also going to open its various branches.

Similarly, Kumari Bank has opened 8 branches of Koshi Province, 2 of Madesh, 14 of Bagmati Province, 1 of Gandaki Province, 4 of Lumbini, 1 of Karnali Province and 1 of Sudurpaschim Province.

Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) has issued notices to its various branches. The bank will open 17 branches across the country on the day of Phulpati.

Similarly, Nepal Bank will open 1 branch in Koshi, 1 in Lumbini and 1 in Bagmati. Only the customs branch of the bank is going to be operated.

Similarly, Prabhu Bank will open four branches in the Kathmandu Valley and 14 branches outside the Valley from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm.

Machhapuchchhre Bank has opened 10 branches in Phulpati, 11 branches on Ashtami and 8 branches in Navami. No branch of the bank is open on the day of Tika. The bank will open 7 branches on the next day.
