Floods and landslides obstruct six different highways

Kathmandu. The highways have remained closed in six places of the country today due to incessant rain and landslides. Nepal Police central spokesperson and Deputy Inspector General of Police Binod Ghimire said the highway has been blocked at six places of Sankhuwasabha, Sindhupalchowk and Rasuwa districts.

According to him, the Koshi Highway has been completely obstructed at Bhotkhola Rural Municipality-4 in Sankhuwasabha district due to incessant rainfall as of 9:00 am.TAG_OPEN_div_15 He further informed that the Koshi Highway has been disrupted due to incessant rainfall at Makalu rural municipality-3 of the same district.
