Around 3 lakh people enter Kathmandu Valley after Dashain begins

Kathmandu. With the beginning of the Dashain festival, five and a half lakh people have left the federal capital Kathmandu.

According to the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, 553,261 people have left the Valley from Ghatasthapana till this morning.

Office Chief and Senior Superintendent of Police Nawaraj Adhikari said additional traffic police personnel have been deployed at the vehicle checkpoints and parking lots.

“The help desk, vehicle monitoring team and emergency rescue team are also working for the ease and safety of the passengers,” he said. Traffic police are on the road for 24 hours. ”

Similarly, a total of 285,308 people entered Kathmandu Valley through 72,041 vehicles during the Dashain festival.
