Rasuwa. The construction of the Miteri Bridge has been expedited after the flood swept away the Lhende rivulet on July 7.

According to Rajesh Panthi, Chief District Officer of Rasuwa, the Chinese technicians are erecting pillars on the Nepali side by collecting water from the river with the help of hum pipe. CDO Panthi said that the bridge would be constructed before the Tihar festival if the works were carried out at the current pace.

Similarly, the Galchhi-Trishuli Mailung-Syafrubesi-Rasuwagadhi Road Improvement Project has set a target to complete the structure of the Kulungkhola bridge along the international highway by October 10.

Engineer of the Road Improvement Project Kumar Bikram Parajuli said that the construction of remaining structures will be started immediately after Dashain as construction materials have already been transported.
