Kathmandu. The Vijaya Dashami festival is being observed today.

On this day, the offerings of Navadurga are consumed. Today, red tika and jamara are being applied by the hands of the elders. The offerings that are worshiped for nine days in the Dashain house or puja room are offered by the elders today.

According to Nepal Calendar Determination Development Committee, the auspicious time for receiving the tika and prasad is 11:53 am. The committee has said that those who have been vaccinated will return to the east.

There is no need to look for an auspicious time for tika today as it is an auspicious time for Bijaya Dashami. According to the committee, the auspicious time for immersion of the goddess is at 9:23 am today.

The auspicious time for the Tulja Bhawani Yatra is at 12:19 pm and Sthirasana Khadga Yatra at 1:17 pm.
