Kathmandu. The District Administration Office, Kathmandu has urged all to stay alert as heavy rain will take place from October 3 to October 20 and there is a possibility of disasters like flood, landslide and soil erosion in the vulnerable areas.

The administration office has urged the people not to travel long distances during the period as long as possible unless absolutely necessary and those going out of Kathmandu and entering Kathmandu from outside should not travel during the night.

The administration has also provided a contact number for immediate rescue, assistance and relief during the time of disaster.
