Kathmandu. All domestic and international flights have been cancelled at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) due to inclement weather. Officials have said that it is impossible to operate the airport due to very low visibility.
Both flights and landing at the airport have been halted due to poor weather. According to airport sources, international flights coming to Nepal have been diverted to Lucknow, Banaras and Dhaka.
Passengers who have been canceled have been requested to contact the respective travel agency, portal or the airline’s call center for rescheduled or refund.
The Airport Authority of Nepal (TIA) has said that preparations are underway to resume flights once the weather improves. Passengers are urged to exercise patience and caution.
