Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) is set to operate chartered flights from Monday. Spokesperson of the corporation, Subash Dangi, said that the passengers will depart from Kathmandu to Bhairahawa at 1:00 pm tomorrow and the passengers from Bhairahawa will be brought to Kathmandu at 2:45 pm.
The fare from Kathmandu to Bhairahawa has been fixed at Rs 5,000 and from Bhairahawa to Kathmandu to return to Kathmandu at Rs 7,000. The corporation has said that it is preparing to operate chartered flights citing the lack of smooth road transport and the influx of passengers returning to Kathmandu after Dashain. The corporation is preparing to charter aircraft especially for the people with disabilities who have taken ticket to go abroad for employment.
