Darchula. A person died and 10 others were injured in a jeep accident in Darchula district this morning. The ill-fated jeep (Bagmati State 03001 Ja 0206) met with an accident at Gajuradi of Nisil in Mahakali Municipality-6 today.

Critically injured Naresh Bahadur Pal, 30, died on the way to the hospital, said Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Gaurav Mahat.

Other six injured have been referred to Dhangadhi for further treatment, said Dambar Dutta Bhatta, information officer at the District Hospital, Darchula.

Lokendra Singh Dhami (24), Pankaj Pal (28), Jaya Bahadur Pal (28), Suman Pal (24), jeep driver Ammar Singh Dhami (40) and Suman Pal (14) have been sent to Seti Provincial Hospital for treatment. Four others have been treated and sent home

There were 11 people in the jeep. The jeep fell some one hundred and fifty meters down from the road.
