Kathmandu. Himalayan Everest Insurance has paid Rs 220 million for the property damaged during the GenG agitation on September 7 and 24.

The company has so far paid Rs 217,44,45,831 for 245 claims out of 287 claims claimed for compensation by Himalayan Everest.

According to the company, the claim payment amount is for the advance and final claim payment of the properties damaged during the GenG agitation. Chief of the Claims Department, Rose Raj Luitel, said that the Company is committed to providing easy and easy claim payment within the regulatory framework.

The claim payment will resume from Tuesday, July 21, 2020. Himalayan Everest Insurance Company has started the prompt payment process for the convenience and financial relief of the insured customers considering the difficult situation. The initiative aims to provide financial relief and protection to the insured in difficult circumstances.

The company has also requested the policyholders who are yet to pay the claim of compensation through Himalayan Everest to contact the nearest branch or central office of the company of their choice by providing necessary documents and process.
