Kathmandu. The influence of the monsoon wind is gradually weakening. The Meteorological Forecasting Division, Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, has said that the influence of the Westerly wind is likely to occur at many places of the western region of Sudurpaschim, Karnali and Lumbini provinces and at a few places of the western region of Gandaki province.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the weather will be generally cloudy in the hilly region including Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces while it will be partly cloudy in the rest of the Tarai. According to Meteorological Forecasting Division, there are chances of moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning at one or two places of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces and at one or two places of hilly regions.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, there will be generally cloudy in the hilly region including Koshi, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces while it will be generally cloudy in the rest of the Tarai areas tonight. According to Meteorological Forecasting Division, light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at few places of the hilly region of Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim province as well as at one or two places of Koshi Province.
