Kathmandu. CPN-UML-affiliated All Nepal National Free Student Union (ANNFSU) General Secretary Dipak Dhami has warned that they would take to the streets if action was not taken against those involved in burning the heritage of the nation. He also said that it was wrong to convict the party just because of its ideology and beliefs.
Speaking at a program organized by Sambad Dabali on Wednesday, Dhami said that they are also in solidarity with the Genji movement and have filed a complaint with the police to take action against those involved in infiltration killing, arson and looting.
“We were also united with the demands of the Jenjis, we were ready to do whatever we could to fulfill these demands, but our demand is that those who infiltrate and indulge in arson, loot and murder of the nation’s heritage and private property should be brought to book,” he said. We have lodged a complaint at the Kathmandu Police Range yesterday with the same demand,” Dhami said.
Stating that they were also working that those guilty of corruption and crime should not be spared, Dhami said that his organization has objected to the act of defaming the guilty through social media. He stressed that the guilty should be brought to justice as no person is above the constitution and law.
Stating that the tendency to convict the party for having ideology and faith does not take the country and society to the right place, Dhami said, “I am UML in terms of ideology and faith and more than that, I am a conscious citizen of the country.” The tendency to blame the political parties for believing in them does not lead the society to the right place. ’
Dhami said that the controversial people have reached the government in the name of the Jenji movement and they are trying to mobilize the state mechanism on the basis of resistance. “We looked to see if Jenji would lead the government, to become a minister, but in the blood of the Genji generation, the controversial person has reached the chair and they are trying to misuse the organs of the state to get revenge,” he said. ’
Dhami said that Sudhan Gurung, president of Hami Nepal Organization, who claims to be a Genji leader, has been doing social work by submitting fake bills in foreign dollars. Stating that they were working for the service of the people free of cost during the disasters like earthquake, corona, flood and landslide, he suggested Sudhan to do so.
। He said that those who have burnt heritages have started demanding the data of the country and have come out on the streets to stop the anarchy in the society. He said that they had no intention of creating anarchy as they were politically conscious but would be compelled to take to the streets to stop such tendencies.
He also said that a complaint would be filed against Balen and Sudhan through all the district administration offices and nearby police offices.
