Kathmandu. The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology said the influence of the Westerly wind is likely to occur at many places of Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces and at some places of the western part of the Gandaki province while the influence of monsoon and local wind is weak in the rest of the areas.

The weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly region including Koshi Province and mainly fair in the rest of the country today. Light rain will occur in some places while light snowfall is predicted in high hilly and mountainous area.
