Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the exchange rate of foreign currency for Sunday. According to the Nepal Rastra Bank, the selling rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 141.60 and Rs 142.20.

The buying rate of European Euro 1 is 163.79 paise and the selling rate is 164.48 paise, the buying rate of UK Pound Sterling 1 is 187.96 rupees and the selling rate is 188.76 rupees.

The selling rate of one Australian dollar 1 has been fixed at 92.78 rupees and 93.18 paise, while the selling rate of one Canadian dollar has been fixed at 101.03 rupees and 101.46 paise.

Similarly, the buying rate of Japanese Yen 10 was Rs 9.27 and selling rate was Rs 9.31, while the selling rate of Chinese Yuan 1 was Rs 19.88 and the selling rate was Rs 19.96.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of Thai Bat 1 is Rs 4.33 and selling rate is Rs 4.35, the selling rate of UAE Dirham 1 is Rs 38.55 and the selling rate is Rs 38.71, the selling rate of Malaysian Ringat 1 is Rs 33.51 and the selling rate is Rs 33.66. The selling rate of Swedish kroner 1 has been fixed at Rs 14.86 for buying and Rs 14.92 for selling of Danish kroner 1.

The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has set the selling rate of Hong Kong Dollar 1 at Rs 18.20 and Rs 18.27, the buying rate of Kuwaiti Dinar 1 is Rs 461.16 and the selling rate is Rs 463.11, the selling rate of Bahrain Dinar 1 is Rs 375.57 and the selling rate is Rs 377.16. The selling rate has been fixed at Rs 160 and Rs 100 for buying and Rs 100.

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has stated that the exchange rate can be revised at any time as per the need. However, the exchange rate fixed by the commercial bank may vary and the updated exchange rate will be available on the central bank’s website.
