Kathmandu. Genji Nepal has demanded an investigation into the irregularities in Nepal Airlines Corporation. The Zenji Group met with Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) Executive Chairman Yubaraj Adhikari on Sunday and demanded the same.

Joint Coordinator of the Interim Talks Committee of the Genji Group, Arjun Shahi, submitted the memorandum to the corporation to investigate the corruption and scams in the corporation and take necessary steps for transparent and public interest delivery.

Genji has demanded an investigation into the wide-body and Lauda Air scams and action against those found guilty. The court has demanded that those found guilty and not executed should be brought to book immediately. Genji has demanded that the number of contract employees be reduced.

The Genji Group has demanded that the corporation should implement a transparent system that the people have access to, and ensure cheap and easy air access to remote areas. He said that the scandals raised by Genji including Widebody and Lauda took place after 2046 B.S.

He said that irregularities were found not only in the purchase of aircraft but also in the sale. He said that the aircraft is sold only after being grounded. He also said that the employees had helped the probe committee to investigate the irregularities in the corporation.

The Jenji Group has demanded the formation of an independent investigation commission to investigate all corruption cases and make public the report within 30 days and to make public the property details of all the employees appointed after 1990 within 21 days. They have demanded that the corporation should add air routes in remote areas and give 50 percent discount to students, helpless and poor.

He said that he has demanded an investigation into the wide-body and Lauda Air scams and action against those found guilty.
