Kathmandu. The Professional Insurance Agents Association of Nepal has been protesting for the past one week.
The association has been protesting for the past seven days demanding that the minimum bonus rate of the insured should be Rs 50 per thousand.
The agitating union has put forth 7 different demands. In which the company has to maintain the best interest of the insured and the bonus received by the insured should be equal to the competing company.
Similarly, the demands include controlling the negligence of the management, ending the irregularities in the company, ending the discriminatory policy, stopping playing with the trust of the insured and the incompetent CEO should resign.
The agitation will continue until their demands are met.
Expressing solidarity with the protest program, General Secretary of the Professional Insurance Agents Association of Nepal Om KC said that this work would be taken forward with an important role. He said that he would fight for the Insurance Authority, the Ministry of Finance and other bodies under the Labor Act. The association’s vice-president and 2 secretaries took part in the protest. He urged all to help to make the movement a success. He also urged all to fight for the rights and interests of the insured.
