Kathmandu. Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has addressed the Central Working Committee (CWC) meeting today.

He also appointed Purna Bahadur Khadka as the acting president of the party.

This is Deuba’s first public appearance since September 24. “I have said that I will hand over the leadership in the 15th general convention, after that even the statute does not give it. I will hand over the reins of the party to acting leader Purna Bahadur Khadka,” Deuba said.

During his address, he paid tribute to those who lost their lives during the Genji movement.
