WASHINGTON. Finance Minister Rameshwor Prasad Khanal and World Bank Group Regional Vice President Johannes Jute held a meeting here today.

During the meeting, the two sides gave an overview of various programmes implemented with the support of the World Bank and discussed possible collaborations and partnerships in the future, according to the embassy in Kathmandu.

Also present on the occasion were Nepal’s Ambassador to the US Lok Darshan Regmi, representatives of the Embassy of Nepal, members of Minister Khanal’s delegation and staffers of different projects of the World Bank.

Minister Khanal arrived in Washington DC on Sunday to attend the annual meeting of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund.
