Nepal Rastra Bank to invest Rs 3.30 billion in pension fund

Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has decided to invest Rs 3.30 billion in the gratuity and pension fund.

The central bank has informed that the amount will be invested for 366 days. The NRB is investing the amount in A, B and C class banks and financial institutions.

The bank or financial institution should have at least two years of operation, maintain the minimum total capital fund as determined by the bank, have eight percent of the non-performing loan loan and the net non-performing loan ratio should not exceed three percent.

It is stated in the notice that the banks and financial institutions should apply on October 30 by specifying the interest rate they want to receive and the proposed interest rate.
