Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The third Tihar Flora Expo kicked off at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu on Friday. The expo was organized by the Nursery Entrepreneurs Association of Nepal.

The Floriculture Development Centre and the Department of Botany are the promoters of the expo. Various species of flowers, pots, and attractive flowers along with different species of plants produced by Jyoti’s nursery and fruit nursery have been put on display at the fair.

According to the organizers, there are 70 stalls in the fair. The fair is expected to attract 35,000 visitors and generate transaction worth more than Rs 5 million.

Ticket prices for the event are Rs 100 per person for general visitors and Rs 50 for senior citizens ।
