British Ambassador Fenn pays courtesy call on PM Karki

Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: A delegation led by British Ambassador to Nepal Rob Fenn paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Sushila Karki at the latter’s office today.

During the meeting held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers today, the two leaders exchanged views on matters of bilateral interest, according to the PM’s Secretariat.

Stating that the main priorities and responsibilities of the government formed in this extraordinary situation were good governance and election, Prime Minister Karki said the government was committed to holding the elections in a free and fair manner on the slated time.

Nepal-UK relations have been cordial since historical times and they also discussed ways to further strengthen it in the days ahead. On the occasion, the British Ambassador extended best wishes to PM Karki for his successful term and said that the UK government was ready to provide necessary support in holding the election.
