Kathmandu. National Assembly Chair Narayan Prasad Dahal called on President Ram Chandra Poudel today.

During the meeting held at the Office of the President, Shital today, Chairman Dahal informed about Nepal’s participation in the 151st General Assembly of Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) from the federal parliament, according to Dahal’s Secretariat. The 151st General Assembly of the IPU is scheduled to be held in Geneva, Switzerland on October 19-23.

A delegation from the Federal Parliament led by NA Chairman is leaving for the UNGA to attend the UNGA. On Sunday, the NA Chair held a meeting with Prime Minister Sushila Karki to inform and discuss about Nepal’s participation in the UNGA and the National Assembly election and other contemporary issues.

On the occasion, Chairman Dahal also informed about the National Assembly election taking place in coming January.
