Kathmandu. A total of 1,203 people have taken permission to climb the mountain for this season. A total of 146 teams include 920 men and 283 women.

Tourists from 78 countries have taken permission from the Nepal Tourism Department to climb various mountains till October 12. It collected Rs 22.92 crore in revenue.

According to the department, the highest number of tourists have taken permission to climb Mt Manaslu for this season. A total of 374 people have taken permission for Manaslu.

Similarly, 274 people have taken permission for Ama Dablam, 176 for Himlung and 4 for Sagarmatha.
