Kathmandu. The Australian Base Camp located in Annapurna Rural Municipality-6 of Kaski district is known for short but pleasant hiking.

Base Camp Dhampus is located at an altitude of 2050 meters above sea level and is accessible in 45 minutes.

Similarly, one can reach Pokhara-Baglung road by trekking from Kande of Kaski. It takes about 2 hours to reach the camp from Kande.

Many tourists trekking on this route spend a night at the Australian Base Camp as it lies on the way to Annapurna Base Camp and Mardi Himal.

When you reach the camp, the mountains including Machhapuchhre and Annapurna fascinate many people ।
