Kathmandu. Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Chudamani Chapagain was found at Hotel Radisson in Kathmandu on Monday after the employees and NEPSE Employees Association urged them to search for him who has been out of contact for the past 25 days.

CEO Chapagain was present in the greetings exchange program organized by Stock Brokers Association of Nepal.

Employees of NEPSE, including Chairman Hemanta Basyal, have been out of contact for the past 25 days.

Employees who have been levelling various personal and institutional allegations against the chairman and CEO have been demanding to investigate both of them.

CEO Chapagain, who was very comfortable in the program of the association today, said that there is a need for trust and transparency in the capital market. He also pointed out the need to make capital market strong and transparent.

There was no sign of disappointment on his face when he met CEO Chapagain, who has been accused of being incommunicado with NEPSE, on the banks of the Tukucha River.

He was present at the program and was easily exchanging best wishes for the upcoming festivals, Tihar and Chhath festivals.

When he spoke informally, he said that he would not do anything except the rights given by the law.

Two days ago, the protesting employees had issued a statement saying that the CEO was out of contact. He has issued another statement today against the same statement. In a statement issued today stating that the complaint was filed at the Ministry of Finance, CEO Chapagain has agreed to be present at the office. “He was secretly present at the office early in the morning and at night,” the statement said. ’
