Simcote. Humla, Feb. 12: The Nyalu road section at Namkha rural municipality-6 in Humla district has come into operation after a gap of 12 days. The road which was closed due to snowfall has come into operation after clearing the snow.

The Infrastructure Development Office, Humla had sent an excavator from the district headquarters Simkot to clear the snow accumulated along the Nyalu road. Naresh Raj Jaisi, chief of the Infrastructure Office, said that the road has been resumed after the snowfall was cleared on Thursday. According to him, the traffic movement has resumed smoothly after removing four feet of snow accumulated on the road in three days.

More than forty passengers, who were stranded at Tumling following snowfall, have safely reached the district headquarters Simkot. After the snowfall, the cold is increasing in the Limi Valley. The temperature here is in the minus in the morning and evening.
