Kathmandu. In the first three months of the current fiscal year 2082/83, Rs 251.18 billion has been collected in revenue.

According to the Ministry of Finance, this amount is 78.12 percent of the target. The government had set a target of collecting revenue of Rs 321.53 billion in the first three months of the current fiscal year.

A total of Rs 92.47 billion has been collected against the target of collecting Rs 103.07 billion in the first month of October. A total of Rs 8.06 billion was collected in a single day on October 14.

According to the Ministry, 89.71 per cent of the target revenue collection was achieved in the month of September.

The government has set a target to collect Rs 1.48 trillion revenue in the current fiscal year.
