Kathmandu. KATHMANDU — The Kathmandu Valley has been decorated with twinkling lights with the arrival of Tihar, the second greatest festival of the Hindus.
Now every house, neighborhood and the entire valley is decorated with lights. The valley is adorned with twinkling lights and is seen from the nearby hills.
Tihar is also considered as a festival of light, due to the belief that Lakshmi resides in a bright house, the house is decorated with twinkling lamps, lamps are lit.
