Kathmandu. The land revenue offices across the country collected a total of Rs 2.75 billion in revenue in September. More than two dozen land revenue offices across the country were torched and damaged due to the Genji agitation on September 7 and 24.

According to the Department of Land Management and Archives, the revenue collection is normal as it has been difficult to operate the office due to festivals and agitation.

According to the department, the department collected 21,30,75,260 service tax and registration fee of Rs 1,44,16,87,755. Likewise, Rs 1.06 billion 19 lakh 35 thousand 537 has been collected in the review period.

According to the Department, the Land Revenue Office, Chabahil, Kathmandu has collected Rs 274.2 million while the Kalanki Land Revenue Office, which has been involved in fire and vandalism, has collected Rs 41,50,371.

Similarly, the Land Revenue Office, Butwal collected Rs 50,356,639, Damak Jhapa Rs 28.641 million and Manamaiju Kathmandu Rs 47.77 million 23,361.

In September, 23,353 documents were passed. Similarly, 2,442 names, 23,914 and 17,930 were lifted. According to the department, a total of 79,739 real estate transactions were carried out during the month.
