Entrepreneurs do not have to go to the market for sale as they come to buy Ziniya at home. The retail price is Rs 100 per kg and the wholesale price is Rs 90. Nowadays, the attraction of Jhiniya business is increasing as it is possible to earn income from home with less investment in a short time.

The demand for it is increasing in the market, which has made it easier for the businessmen. Jhiniya is taken as a business in the village as there is no need to worry about production, and the source of income is taken from home. On the occasion of Tihar, it is customary for sisters to give Jhiniya as prasad after giving tika to their brothers. Nowadays, its use as a snack is also increasing. Apart from the Tihar festival, its use is increasing in various festivals and auspicious ceremonies including marriage, bratabandha, puja, Maghe Sankranti, Teej.
