Lalitpur. Lalitpur: Police have arrested a person in possession of a pistol from Dhapakhel.

Information Officer and Superintendent of Police at the District Police Range, Lalitpur, Chakra Joshi, said that Shiva Kumar BK of Sakela Rural Municipality-1 of Khotang was arrested with a pistol and Rs 478,000 at 2.50 am last night.

BK, who hails from Sakela in Khotang, was currently living at Dhapakhel of Lalitpur Metropolitan City-23. A team deputed from the Police Sector Dhapakhel also recovered a Chinese pistol with registration number 50000491, cash and mobile phone, a magazine (50000491) along with a bulletless Chinese pistol (Than-1) after the locals informed the locals that BK was making a commotion under the influence of alcohol. ”

BK has been taken into custody and investigation is underway, he added.
