Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Police have arrested a Nepali national and another Chinese national along with Rs 69.85 lakh from Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Swayambhu.

The arrestees have been identified as 38-year-old Chinese national Jiao Yang and 22-year-old Rojina Sunar of Nilkantha municipality in Dhading district, according to Additional Inspector General of Police (AIG) Dan Bahadur Karki.

“Police have arrested two people—a Chinese and a Nepali—with undisclosed funds,” he added. Further investigation into the case is underway. Additional Inspector General of Police (AIG) Karki said that the police also confiscated gold ornaments from the rooms rented by the arrestees.
