Hyatt Regency Hotel closed indefinitely due to Genji protests

Kathmandu. The Hyatt Regency Hotel has been closed indefinitely.

The hotel, which was vandalized during the Genji protests, has been closed indefinitely.

According to a notice issued by the hotel’s human resources director, Mohammad Yusuf Chowdhury, the hotel was shut down due to security sensitivities and damage caused during the Genji agitation.

The notice reads, “Considering the risk of repair and reconstruction of the hotel and the security sensitivity, all the workers working in the hotel are informed not to be present in the hotel premises until further notice is sent or other decision is made.” ’
