Kathmandu. A team from the Police Circle, Maharajgunj confiscated the drugs being sold and distributed against the standard.

Police confiscated medicines from Takshak Pharmacy at Tokha municipality-5, Basundhara, Kathmandu based on information that the medicines were being sold without the permission of a doctor.

Police Inspector Laxman Devkota of Circle Maharajgunj said that the police confiscated 385 tablets of Spain, 750 tablets of Anticofe, 100 tablets of Pregabalin labeled Pregabalin, 200 tablets of Pregabalin LP and 100 tablets of Pregamer 75 labelled on them.

According to him, the pharmacy was operated by Prakash Gautam, 40, of Khadbari municipality-8 in Sankhuwasabha.
