Darchula. A person died in a jeep accident at Danikhet of Marma rural municipality-3 this morning.

The jeep (Sup Pra 01 001 Ja 1662) en route to Sarsi from Latinath met with an accident at Danikhet this morning.

The deceased has been identified as Karbir Singh Thagunna, 34, according to Police Inspector Bikram Shahi of District Police Office.

It is yet to be ascertained who drove the jeep and how the accident occurred, police said. A police team from the Area Police Office, Latinath, has headed to the incident site to search for the jeep driver.
