Birds enter Nepal from different countries with monsoon (Photos)

Kathmandu. With the monsoon rains leaving the country, cold air has started to cease. With this cold weather, migratory birds have come. More than 100 species of birds migrate to Nepal every year.

Most of them are water birds and ducks. Other birds such as eagles, hawks, feathers, vultures also come to Nepal in search of suitable weather.

So far, more than 900 species of birds have been recorded in Nepal. Many species of birds go to other countries after resting in Nepal, while many other species of birds like Karangkurang go to India from the sky without resting in Nepal.

Birds that come to Nepal during winter prefer to stay in big rivers and ponds like Koshi, Karnali, Narayani, Rapti, Fewa Lake, Jagadishpur Lake, Ghodaghodi Lake, Barju Lake. Every year in January, a census of migrating birds to major habitats around the country is conducted and millions are recorded.

Birds like Chakhewa, Khoya Duck, Asildhunde, Clouded Fisto, Khadkhade Duck, Suiropuchche, etc. come to Nepal in large numbers, while birds like Shwetamatha Kalash, Devdutt Manitundak and Devdas come in very small numbers.
