Kathmandu. A writ petition has been filed at the Supreme Court against the chairman and office-bearers of the Commission of Inquiry into the Jenji agitation.

Advocate Bipin Dhakal had filed a writ petition at the apex court demanding that the government stop taking action against Commission Chairman Gauri Bahadur Karki and members Bigyan Raj Sharma and Bishweshwar Prasad Bhandari.

The petitioner has accused Karki and Sharma, who is also a member and spokesperson, of being biased in the matter of investigation.

The government has formed a commission under the leadership of Gauri Bahadur Karki, former chairman of the Special Court, to probe into the loss of life and property during the Janji agitation on September 7 and 24.
