Kathmandu. Trekking to the Annapurna Base Camp has been completely banned. Trekking has been banned as rainfall and snowfall have been taking place in the area.

Some trekkers are not able to climb down and climb up at that place. A team of Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and local rescuer Indra Sherchan Thakali has been mobilized to facilitate the flood survivors. The team has been mobilized in coordination with Annapurna rural municipality.

Sherchan, a member of the rescue team, said that they have been mobilized to rescue people as they have received information that people are trapped in different places. The Annapurna Rural Municipality has asked the people to contact the police control number 100 or the nearest police or representatives of Annapurna Rural Municipality if they need any help or information.
