Karnali. Surkhet: The District Police Office, Surkhet has arrested 9 persons on the charge of attempted murder.

Police have arrested nine persons on the charge of attempted murder and unruly activities during a Deusi Bhailo event. The arrestees have been identified as Utsav Pun Magar, 18, Chinin Gurung, 18, Bikrant Gurung, 21, Hemraj Rokaya, 18, Simanta Panta, 18, Sameer Khatri, Sandesh Rawal, Raunak Barghare and Kiran Chaudhary of ward no. 9 of ward no. 9.

According to him, the accused Pun Magar along with the accused had beaten the victim with an intention to kill him while playing Deusi Bhailo on the public road at New Ghusra of Birendranagar Municipality-10 at 1.30 am on October 23.

According to the District Police Office, Surkhet, police have arrested nine persons including Magar from Birendranagar municipality-10, Surkhet and started investigation into the case of attempt to murder.
