Kathmandu. A team of Armed Police Force (APF) has been mobilized to provide treatment to the domestic tourists affected by the incessant snowfall.
A team of APF personnel conducted a health camp at the entrance gate of Muktinath temple this morning and distributed medicines to around 250 people, APF Joint Spokesperson Shailendra Thapa said.
A team of Armed Police Force (APF) Nepal No. 33 Company was deployed at the health camp. Many tourists have been suffering from headache, nausea and difficulty in breathing due to snowfall in the area. The APF has identified their problems and provided basic first aid as well.
Meanwhile, the Armed Police Force has eased the tourists by clearing snow on the road leading to the Muktinath temple and the temple premises. Armed Police Force teams have been mobilized since early this morning to clear the snow. It is said that the pilgrimage to Muktinath has become easier after clearing the snow accumulated on the way.
