Kathmandu. The Meteorological Forecasting Division has forecast rainfall in most parts of the country until Saturday morning.

Spokesperson at the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, Bibhuti Pokharel, said that there will be light rainfall in Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces while moderate rainfall will take place in the rest of the provinces and the weather will improve from Saturday morning. He said that there will be rain in the Kathmandu Valley and surrounding areas in the next 24 hours, but continuous rain will not occur in all places.

Heavy snowfall has been forecast in high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali provinces in the next 24 hours.
