Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank Limited has been recertified with the internationally accredited ISO 9001:2015.

The bank was certified to be effective from mid-July last year as it has been able to provide international standard quality service in the quality management system and has been able to be re-certified by the first surveillance audit held in August.

Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank was the lead bank among the development banks to receive the certificate under the ‘Provision of Development Banking Activities’.

Organizations that maintain a strong quality management system in line with international standards, can provide excellent service, ensure customer satisfaction, and continuously improve their work systems are eligible for such certification.

The bank’s policies, rules, procedures, documentation and overall management system were examined and detailed audited for obtaining the certificate.

The bank has been providing quality financial services at the doorstep of the people of Nepal for the last 31 years and has more than 8 lakh customers all over the country.
