PM Karki urges German envoy to take initiative for printing passport before signing agreement

. German Ambassador to Nepal Udo Volz paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Sushila Karki today. During the meeting held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Nepal and Germany exchanged views on matters of bilateral interest and friendship.

This is the first meeting between them after Karki was appointed as the Prime Minister.TAG_OPEN_div_10 Meanwhile, German Ambassador Udo Volz extended best wishes to PM Karki for his successful success and said that he was ready to provide necessary support to Nepal as per the priorities as always.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Karki has urged the government to take necessary initiatives for printing passports from the date of the agreement signed with the German company for printing Nepal’s passports.TAG_OPEN_div_8 He also expressed the belief that the German side would cooperate in this task of providing fast and efficient service to the Nepali citizens.

In response, Ambassador Volz requested the company on his behalf and said that he would take the best possible initiative in this regard.
