Nawalparasi. The Daunne section of the Narayanghat-Butwal road section along the East-West Highway has been obstructed.

Information Officer at the District Police Office, Madhu Nepal, said that the road section has been obstructed due to incessant rainfall since this morning.

He further informed that the road has been obstructed at Bijayi Triveni rural municipality-2, Bishwakarma Temple and Ghyukhola of Daunne section due to inrain. Information Officer Nepal said, “Vehicles have not been able to go towards the west as the road has become muddy and slippery due to the incessant rain since this morning.” Police have been deployed to prevent traffic jam along the Daunne section as the cargo vehicles have not been able to climb uphill. ”
