Bow. Four people including three members of a family were killed and two children were seriously injured when a passenger bus hit an auto-rickshaw. The accident took place when a bus (Supra 01-001 Kha 3288) en route to Dhangadhi from Biratnagar hit the auto-rickshaw (State 2-01-001 Ha 1230) coming from the opposite direction on Saturday evening.

The deceased have been identified as Dhan Bahadur Purbachhane Magar, 40, Shambhu Purvachhane Magar, 35, Nisha Magar, 35, and Dambar Rai, 40, of Bharatpur. They died on the spot.

Sheetal Magar, 14, and Roshan Magar, 9, were seriously injured in the incident. They have been admitted to Neuro Hospital in Janakpurdham for treatment. Further investigation into the accident is underway, police said.
