Gaighat. Vehicular movement has been disrupted in Beltar, Fatehpur, Handiya and Sundarpur due to incessant rain. The flood in the Triyuga River has damaged the roads in Chaudandigadhi Municipality area.

According to the District Police Office, the flood has damaged the road linking Chaudandigadhi municipality-9 Jyamire to ward-10 Handiya and Sundarpur of ward-5.

Information Officer of the Office, Deputy Superintendent of Police Kedar Man Dong said that the flood has damaged the Beltar-Phattepur road section of Chaudandi. The flood has swept away the hum pipes installed on the temporary roads in the area.

Information Officer Dong said that it is difficult to repair the obstructed road due to incessant rain.
