Govt has cash reserves of Rs 65.81 billion, reserve fund of around Rs 200 billion

Kathmandu. The Office of Financial Comptroller General has submitted the integrated financial details of the central accounts of the fiscal year 2081/82 to the government.

The report contains the annual report of the internal audit and the integrated annual statement of the assets.

Auditor General Shobhakanta Poudel submitted the report to Finance Minister Rameshwor Khanal. According to the report, the government’s reserve fund in the fiscal year 2081/82 was negative by Rs 196.34 billion. At the same time, the cash position stood at Rs 31.34 billion.

Spokesperson Lamichhane said that the cash and bank reserves were positive by Rs 65.81 billion based on the reserves of various funds and the remaining amount of the extra budgetary bodies.
